Tea Party People versus Republican Party

And herein lies the rub. The rub of true Americans seeking Constitutional freedom versus the "Progressives" who seek to destroy it. The Tea Party movement started as a sound bite on TV and grew into a national phenom.  Soon it will be its'1st birthday and yet, the media can't put their finger on it's true heart.  Why, because  they fail to understand the hearts of the American people, which was fathered by the "Founding Fathers", the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

Now, Blue Dog Democrats and Republican Parties seek to garner the title "Tea Party" as their own.  I say, go for it!  Before anyone hyperventilates, hold on!

They seek to ride on our "coat-tails".  We wear the coat! We control them, not the other way around.  They need our support.  As  long as we stay Independent in our stance, as long as we write, fax, email or call our elected officials and Republican or Democratic Party, we are in control.  Don't let the media divide us, don't let any political party control us.

Imitation is the best form of flattery.  We are flattered but not seduced!

  1. Indeed! Well said! This is why I chose to be Conservative (politically) -Independent (of both major political parties) - Somewhat Libertarian(Strict adherence to The U.S. Constitution)..

I am not into toting anyone's banners, such as GOP etc. etc. I will associate with the group that is the closest and purist to our Constitution, as written and understood by our founders during The Philadelphia Convention.

Certainly, we have modern realities, such as terrorism etc. We MUST have a strong national security, in other to protect our Republic, but there is nothing that can not be achieved, while still operating within the confounds of our original Constitution.

The Tea Party people should either use the platform and power of The Republican Party to from The Republican Party, or we should make a concerted effort to destroy both major political parties, and concentrate on people who want to serve, "reluctantly," responsibility, and according to our Constitution.
