I kneel before you, a nation, and pray.
I pray that on this day, September 11, 2014, we honor the memory of the 3000 souls who died on September 11, 2001. I pray for those who have continued to died from the effects of that terrible event and in our War on Terror.
I pray, that as a nation, we unite in the face of our enemies both within and outside our borders.
I pray that we honor our founding fathers and restore our unalienable rights you bestowed upon us since the creation.
I pray that our leaders find the courage to act justly and rightly in all that they do.
I pray that all those who died at the hands of our enemies and terrorists did not do so in vain and that we, as a nation, seek justice for them.
And finally, dear Lord, I pray. I pray that you give our Commander-In-Chief a good swift kick in his arse. Lead him kicking and screaming back down the path that Washington, Madison, Jefferson, Lincoln, Garfield and Reagan laid before our nation.
Prostrate him and the like-minded before your altar and show them the error of their ways. Strike fear into the core of his and his compatriot's hearts, now and forever. Amen
