In a mulch-pronged attack on the 2nd Amendment gun control enthusiasts have launched their next wave.  Criminal activities and violence has spiraled out of control in many cities, like Detroit, yet gun controllers don't seek to stop illegal guns, but the right of legal citizens to own guns and protect their life, liberty and property.



Time and again, the history of our nation has proven that gun control doesn't work against criminals, since by nature they will blatantly violate our laws to obtain the weapons.



The Obama administration is going after our ammunition, seeking to keep ammo separate from our weapons, keep them locked up and hard to access.  They have limited the areas we may legally carry and now a Congresswoman, Carolyn Maloney wants to mandate gun owners obtain insurance.



Gun control is not about safety, it's about control.  Control of law abiding citizens by an overbearing and tyrannical government.



The 2nd Amendment is not just about life, liberty and property, it's about restraining government and protecting our rights and Republic.  This was proven in 1946 in what is known as "The Battle of Athens" in Tennessee, also called the "Battle of McMinn County".  Everyday citizens brutalized by a corrupt government, lawfully rose up and reclaimed their county.



It is about freedom.  Freedom to be secure in your person.  Freedom to protect your family and fellow citizens.  Freedom to protect your property and that of others.  Freedom to hunt or sport shoot.  Above all, freedom to preserve our Republic and retain our God given liberties.
