Bill Randall was the Republican primary
winner for NC-13th Congressional District in 2010. He challenged 4-term
Ralph "Brad" Miller in 2010. Although he lost, Bill garnered over 92,000
votes district-wide, won 3 of the 7 counties within the district, and
had the highest percentage of votes (45%) of any challenger to Miller.
Bill then ran for the redistricted Congressional seat in 2012. The race
was won by a challenger who spent over $1M.
